Car: 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan with model RAZ headunit
I received my Car2PC adapter late Saturday, January 13th just as a winter storm was approaching our area. Hoping the weather would clear up a bit and not wanting to do the installation in the dark, I waited until Sunday to attempt installation.
Installation to the car:
Removal of the center dash panel is quite simple. First remove the cupholder by pulling it all the way out and release the catch on the rear of the cupholder.
Just above the cupholder is a small plastic cover that easily pops off revealing 4 screws.
Installation to the computer:
The 1/8" jack is then plugged into
your computer with the USB cable. You are now able to play music
through the adapter, if you wish to control the stereo using the buttons
simply install the drivers following the instructions provided on the
driver cd. Using winamp everything works perfectly.
Conclusion:
I am extremely
happy with the quality of the sound from this adapter, using the same
wiring and the fm modulator I always had engine noise from ground loops,
with the Car2pc adapter the sound is crystal clear.
